New Puppy

Brian and I have been talking about getting another dog for the longest time but our townhouse and busy lifestyle just wouldn't allow it. Well now that we have a bigger house and no wedding to plan for, we decided it's the perfect time, and Sadie seemed a little board. So for weeks we did some research on breeds and what not and decide to rescue a puppy because there are so many to be rescued. We found a cute little black Lab and Irish Setter mix in Faribault, named Flirt. I called up the couple that was fostering her and she told me there are a lot of families looking at her so if I want her I needed to come now! I called Brian and that night we drove down there and by 7pm we had a new puppy. We didn't like the name Flirt so we renamed her to Lucy Marie. We love 'I Love Lucy' so it only made sense.

As everyone knows in April Brian and I bought a new house. We wanted a fixer upper so we could really do our own thing with it. Well we found our fixer upper but it's was more of a fixer upper then we wanted. We had a lot of late nights and early mornings but we couldn't have done it without all the help. So a BIG thanks to everyone! We've now been living in it about 3 months and we really enjoy it!

The outside is our project for May of 2011.

Something Borrowed, Something Blue

So our wedding day finally came. It seemed like it took forever to come, but it did. Actually it came and went really fast. Everyone told me the day will fly by so take it all in, and sure enough it flew by. Everything went very smoothly and it turned out to be more beautiful then I imagined, even the trees at the church...:)haha
Brian and I left for our honeymoon in Montego Bay Jamaica the Monday following our wedding. It was a big shock for me when we got to Jamaica, so big I actually cried and said I wanted to go home! Yes 85 degrees and sunny..I was ready to go home. Brian explained to me I had to stay and that I would eventually like it. Shortly after my childish moment I was ready to explore the resort. It was so relaxing, I'm glad I decided to stay.
Now we're home and back to reality.

Brian's sister got a hotel room for Friday night since Brian and I decide to go traditional and not see eachother tell the moment I walk down the aisle.

My wedding gift from Brian was a Tiffany's key locket, and a very sweet note to follow that my sister had to read cause I kept crying.

Miles was very interested in me while I was putting on my lipstick.
