Look-A-Like

Ok so yes Quinn looks like Brian, but only Brian as an adult. I was going through our baby books to see where Quinn is at compared to where we were at that age and I started looking at my baby pictures and thought holy moly!! Quinn looks like her mommy! Although these pictures aren't the best quality since they are over 23 years old I think you can get the jist..We couldn't figure out whose nose she had either but this pictures answers that question.

Quinn's 1st Easter

Quinn had a very exciting 1st Easter if you ask me.  She got a cute Easter basket filled with age appropriate goodies, a book, pjs, and a bug bib. Thanks Easter Bunny! The whole clan gathered at Nana and Papa's house on Saturday and we did an Easter egg hunt and ate way to much food. There was green been caserole, ham, LOTS of cheesy pototoes, watergate salad, a fruit salad, cupcakes, and the list goes on. Then on Sunday the Beckers gathered (Nana, Papa, Marc, Jen, Callan, Me, Brian, Quinn, Nykkole, and Sissy) we ate left overs and then headed outside for a game of catch football while the kiddos swung. During this exciting Easter weekend Quinn had a lot of firsts.  She officially sat unassisted for the first time, stood pretty much by herself, and said "Ma Ma"!!!!!! That's right Ma Ma. I think its every mother's extreme excitement for their daughter's first words to be MaMa.

This was Saturday morning. Rough night with teething but mommy and daddy's bed makes it much better!

Whoofta Easter was exhausting. She didn't even make it the 5 minutes it takes to get home.

Rio

I don't know if you guys have seen the kids movie Rio but it is Quinn's all time favorite. If you put it on even just the music to it she zones right to it. It is a really cute movie with fun music and lots of bright colors! So here is just a fun picture of Quinn watching the movie. Thumb, blanket, Rio..check, check, check!

Quinn is rolling and inching her way all around these days.  She isn't crawling yet but this seems to be doing her just fine. I caught this picture of her during one of her naps. She has managed to move down to the foot of her bed and turn sideways. When I went in to get her after her nap she was turned all the way around and all the way to the bottom. Silly bird!

6 Months Old

My beautiful baby girl is growing up so fast. She is already 6 months old weighing in at 20 lbs and 26 inches long. She has her first two teeth on the bottom front which both popped out overnight.  It's fun to watch her as she grows now she is interested in playing with her toys, chewing on everything, going for walks, watching her puppies play (she thinks Sadie is so funny), Signing Time of course, and RIO. She absolutely LOVES watching the movie Rio! She's also started solid foods which she actually likes. Although she has only had sweet potatoes, squash, peas, and prunes.

 I thought this would make a fun photo shoot but Quinn did not since these are the only pictures I got of her smiling and or paying attention.

 And then of course I gave up and laid her on her changing table to put her regular clothes back on and of course happy as can be..Naked!
