16 Weeks

16 weeks and 1 day

We are counting down the days tell we find out the sex of the baby. Only 16 to days to go. Baby B is now the size of an avocado and can hear everything we say....So we need to watch our mouths or baby's first words might not be pretty :)

P.S. It is also Sadie May's birthday today and she is 7 in people years, which I believe that makes her 50 in dog years! Yikes!

Baby B is moving..15 Weeks & 5 Days!

I know this is a weird photo, but I was awakened this morning at 6 am on the dot with this alien like movement in my belly. And so I put my hand on it to feel and my stomach was totally bulging on the left side. So of course I freaked out and turned on the light and then I saw it was just the baby swimming around ready to start the day. I woke Brian up from his deep sleep "what, what, huh?". It was a really strange and cool feeling and I was so glad for technology that I had my camera phone right by my bed to catch it in a picture.

15 Week Update

Baby B had just a quick checkup yesterday and Dr. said everything sounds great. She says we've got a squirmy little fart on our hands and with in the next couple weeks she says she has no doubts we will feel him/her moving. Generally they like the heart rate between 110 and 160, and baby B was booking it at 150. I was worried about my weight gain with all my eating but I've bearly gained 6lbs from beginning tell now and she said that was perfectly fine. Now the countdown begins, because on May 11th we get to find out the sex. This will be the longest month of mine and Brian's life folks, we can't wait!

14 Weeks!

Baby B is now the size of a lemon (3.4 in) and is busy thumb sucking and toe wiggling, a few other things we won't mention. It is really weird to think we are already at this point. Right now time seems to be flying.

13 Weeks

We made it to the 2nd Trimester and I'm feeling great! I'm not so exhausted anymore, which is so lovely. I've noticed I been actually loosing inches everywhere but the waist and bust, of course, which I think is nice as well. haha!

Baby B is the size of a peach now and is forming teeth and vocal cords. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy.
