Baby Girl Becker's Room

So we have officially finished the last room in the house..(I'm DONE!)
Baby _______Becker's room..haha

Mom and Grandma Gina came down to help of course..mom painted and sewed curtains while grandma did laundry and pressed the new curtains. It took 8 lbs off of me that's for sure. So obviously putting the nursery together includes putting a crib together..fun..Nana & Papa Becker bought us our crib off craigslist and when we went to pick it up the father of the girl who never slept in her crib said I will take it down and put the screws back in it so you know right were they go...So the day comes when its our turn to put it together and Brian says we are missing some big screws. Like the main screws that attached A to B..I said he told you he put them all back in their right place so we could just put it back together. Then I remembered there were the 4 big ones that he handed me that didnt have a place when the crib was in pieces..So I told Brian to go check the closet by the front door since the crib had sat there from the time we bought tell about a month ago. And I also told him to check the junk drawer(drawer under microwave with important can't loose items go).Nope. So now Brian was on a mad hunt to find these screws. Keeping in mind that Brian's version of looking for something is a quick glance in that direction and if it's not flashing and saying here I am then he wont see it. I get up and walk into the kitchen only to find them right in the drawer under the microwave where all the important pieces are for something or other in our house are located.

This process should have been much easier..It wasn't hard after we did trial and error a few times but we got it.

Me making sure everything was going correctly.. I'm cut a break on manual labor cause I'm prego...
Lucy thanking Grandma Jackie for helping her mommy and daddy get her new baby sister's crib together.
Mom holding the crib in place while Brian searches for those important screws...

All the dogs must be a part of the process or it wouldn't be complete. Brian is holding his eye in this picture cause I accidently dropped a key from a wall hanging into his eye. Which I didn't even know there was a key on it. haha Sadie was there to help as always she LOVES Brian.

Peanut thought he needed one of these lovely cages where it's too high for the other dogs to reach you.
Brian didn't think that the baby bjourn would fit him..So we did a test run.
It fits! He has my stuffed easter bunny in there from when I was about 3 years old.
Mom, Grandma, and I trying to figure out why the bows on the bumper aren't matching up with the posts on the crib...
Tada..Now just to hang the curtains and finishing touches on wall decor and we're done!

Ahhh, I meant 2 months!! Sorry, that is NOT my guess for your due date :) See, that's just proof that when they say your preggo brain goes away... it really doesn't - you just have mommy brain after that! :)
